We are looking for a CNC Sliding head Setter/Operator for an Afternoon shift to join team in the Manufacturing industry
Immediate start, this will be a full-time position after a successful trial period
Duties:
Operating and setting Sliding head Machines such as Tornos Deco, Hanwha (Fanuc) Star.
Duties:
- Operating and setting Sliding head Machines such as Tornos Deco, Hanwha (Fanuc) Star.
- Must have experience of setting and operating twin spindle and twin turret machines.
- Operating and setting Sliding head Machines such as Tornos Deco, Hanwha (Fanuc) Star.
- Must have experience of Fanuc controls and able to read programs to edit if necessary.
- Advantageous to have Mitsubishi control experience.
- Must be a team player and help operators on the same shift.
This position is aimed at people with 2 years’ experience of most of the above technical aspects.
Training will be given where required, especially on machine and control system specific aspects.
This position does not incorporate programming of machines which is handled by a different team, with whom you will collaborate closely.
Hour of Work:
- Mon to Thurs 14:00 to 22:00
- 12:00 to 20:00 Friday
Rate of rate:
- £16.00 Per hour.
- Regular weekend overtime available (on Saturday morning)
