Corin is seeking Manufacturing Associates with the following experience to work within our Instrument Refurbishment team

CNC Machining – Mills and Lathes – 3 and 5 Axis machinery, NY, Fanuc Programmes

Manual lathe operating

CNC wire eroding

Tool making

Reading engineering drawings

Working with metals such as Stainless steel, cobalt chrome and Titanium

Using gauges and measuring equipment

Strong attention to detail with quality being paramount .

The roles are based on Love Lane in Cirencester, Gloucestershire at our global manufacturing site where we design, make, inspect and distribute hip and knee implants for worldwide distribution.

The tools/instruments you will be working on form part of the surgeon instrument trays that help the surgeon implant the hip or knee medical device. They are consigned to the surgeon and then returned to the refurbishment team for functional checks and testing, and then the tools/instruments are either reworked or destroyed.

The role is on a double day shift (earlies one week, lates the following) on a salary of £23,000 plus a 20% shift (£4,600) allowance based in Cirencester, Gloucestershire on Love Lane (near A419, Cheltenham, Swindon), with a progressional salary structure based on a skills matrix.

We also offer a discretionary quarterly bonus of up to £450 based on attendance, quality and production. Overtime is payable at up to hours a week and double time after that

As a Manufacturing Associates you will be

Conduct inspection of small, batched components

Use machining tools to make changes to small batches

Manually using turning and milling machinery

Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of the workshop

Set and operate 3 and 5-axis machinery for the production of small batches of metal components

Programme editing of N-Y / Fanuc programmes

Follow work instructions and SOPs to the highest standards

Complete quality documentation and follow ISO procedures.
