We are currently looking for a CNC Machinist (Millers) to join our dynamic team at Prestwick Aerospace Park in Ayrshire.
As a CNC Machinist (Millers), your primary responsibilities will include programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machinery to perform both internal and external milling of components as per customer drawings. You’ll also operate manual milling machinery, utilise inspection equipment to ensure precise adherence to sizes, tolerances, and surface finishes, and play a critical role in meeting our customers’ needs through your meticulous work.
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday: Shifts are rotating, following a training period on the day shift. No night shifts required!
CNC Machinist (Millers) Requirements:
- Apprenticeship/HNC in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
- Time-served Miller with recent CNC experience
- Experience of programming and operating CNC Milling machines
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Knowledge of Fanuc programming language
- Live within a commutable distance and have the right to work in the UK
