This is a fabulous opportunity for a Classroom Support Assistant who enjoys working on a 1:1, small group, and whole class basis with children with SEN and additional needs. This is a highly respected and popular specialist school looking for a CSA for a full-time, permanent role (term time only). Applicants for this role need to be nurturing, patient and committed to making learning accessible to secondary-aged learners with severe and complex learning difficulties. This school offers exceptional training courses completely free of charge with time in your working day to complete all necessary aspects allowing you to develop in your career to HLTA or qualified status. The school in question boasts brilliant grounds, outstanding resources, and outdoor learning spaces. This school is a creative setting that embraces the arts, physical activity, and outdoor learning. You would join a committed team and would support the delivery of a creative, relevant, and practical curriculum that meets the needs of the children's individual needs. This is a fabulous opportunity not to be missed. This role is needed on a term time basis, Monday-Friday 08:30-4:30 pm.

  • Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Relevant teaching Assistant and SEN experience (desirable)
  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Responsibilities:

  • Supporting learners on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
  • Supporting learners with severe and complex needs
  • Working with the teacher to support the learning objectives
  • This role is open to receiving applications over the next week. Within a week of the closing date, appropriate applicants will begin a three-stage interview process, after which shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend the final stage of the interview process with appropriate school leadership.
