We are looking for a passionate Classroom Support Assistant to work 1:1, with small groups, and in whole-class settings, supporting children with additional needs. A well-respected, specialist school is seeking a full-time, permanent Specialist CSA (term-time only) to join their dedicated team to start ASAP.

This school, recognised by Ofsted as Outstanding, has been making a difference in the lives of both primary and secondary-aged students for over 19 years. We are seeking someone who is nurturing, patient, and committed to ensuring that children with severe and complex learning difficulties thrive in a supportive learning environment.

  • Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Relevant teaching Assistant and SEN experience (desirable)
  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Responsibilities:

  • Supporting learners on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
  • Supporting learners with severe and complex needs
  • Working with the teacher to support the learning objectives
  • This role is open to receiving applications over the next week. Within a week of the closing date, appropriate applicants will begin a three-stage interview process, after which shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend the final stage of the interview process with appropriate school leadership.
