Caretaker

30-35 hours per week

We are looking for an outstanding Caretaker to be responsible for the security, safety, cleanliness and general maintenance of our busy church school and grounds.

The successful candidate will be proactive as well as being a happy, caring and enthusiastic person who takes pride in their work and has high expectations to lead a team to deliver an outstanding, well maintained and clean school ready for our children to learn in a safe and vibrant environment.

WE ARE SEEKING A PROFESSIONAL INDIVIDUAL WHO:

Has experience in a similar role

Can communicate an outstanding vision for the development of the school, and understands how this links to children’s outcomes.

Takes pride in their work and can create an enticing, vibrant environment

Has good attention to detail

Can use their initiative

Is a good team player and enjoys working as part of a friendly team

Has good IT skills and can use reporting systems effectively.

Can work with children during lunchtimes to help support the midday supervisors

This position is for 5 days per week, Monday to Friday ( 30-35 hours per week - subject to negotiation), working hours to negotiated for the right candidate.

The start date for this position will be as soon as possible after the interviews and a successful DBS check is in place.
