Contract Type: Permanent


Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00 am-5.00 pm - 40 hours per week.


Location: Cedar Care Head Office, Mortimer House, Clifton Down Road, Clifton, Bristol, BS8 4AE


Rate of Pay: £8.60 to £11.44 per hour (Depending on Age, Experience and Qualifications)

Job Role:

As a Junior Office Assistant, you will work under the direction of the Office Manager to provide administrative and accounting support in the day-to-day function of our busy Accounts department.

 

Role Expectations,

As a Junior Office Assistant you will be the first point of contact for internal and external enquiries via email, telephone and in person and redirect them to the relevant person or team. Take messages and/or forward information to the appropriate person. Open, sort and screen incoming mail and deal with routine correspondence. Carry out photocopying, emailing and distribution of documents as required. Carry out general administrative duties. To complete all accounting and payroll procedures accurately within the required time frames, when required. To work effectively as part of the team and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information pertaining to the Organisation, Residents and Staff.

 

 Person Specifications:


  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel
  • Good level of both written and spoken English
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Maintaining good time management in performing the tasks required and achieving task completion deadlines.
  • Maintaining a good time keeping and attendance record
  • A willingness to learn and progress within the company.
  • Applications from recent school/college leavers welcomed.
