The Role of the Care Assistant:
The role of the Care Assistant is very rewarding and varied. Every person you care for is an individual with their own personal needs and personality, and your care will be tailored to meet these needs.
This is a very rewarding and varied job where you are a vital person in the lives of your clients so they can lead as independent and fulfilled lives as possible.
Experience not necessary, full training provided. Driving license essential.
Duties of the Care Assistant:
Personal Care
Prompting and administering medication
Getting to know your clients and forming great relationships with them
Meal preparation
General household tasks including shopping
Hours: We have full and part time work including evening and weekend work.

On call rate.

Criteria of the Care Assistant:
Driving License essential
Be caring, empathetic and respectful
Good written and verbal communication skills
Be willing to have a Disclosure Barring service check completed
Be passionate about care and be willing to develop further skills.
Be friendly and supportive towards vulnerable adults.
Show the ability to build relationships with those you will support and those around them.
Show service users, compassion and understanding when working with others.
Show understanding about the responsibility of the job role.
