We are seeking to recruit a number of professionally qualified practitioners to further develop and grow our multi-disciplinary Children and young people eating disorder team

You will be working in a community based multi-disciplinary team delivering a service to children in a rich and diverse community, young people and their families in a supportive and lively team, where different professions are respected and valued. You will have the opportunity to play a significant role in the leadership delivery of a modernised and comprehensive service.

Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for nurse mental health practitioner with experience and/or interest in eating disorders a to join a well-established, dedicated, and friendly children and young people's community eating disorders service across Bradford, Aire Wharfe Craven CAMHS.

The successful applicant will join a multi-disciplinary team including psychology, psychiatry, nursing, dietitian, family therapist mental health practitioner and associate practitioner roles.

We have a close working relationship with our paediatric colleagues who support with in patient refeeding when necessary.

The family therapy FT-AN, FT-BN approach is at our core.

We work closely within our team we have twice daily huddles, weekly team meetings, individual and small group supervision, small group formulation, and team development sessions, these team processes support team members to work with complexity and risk.

Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • RMN, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker
  • Desirable criteria

  • EMB 998 or equivalent - mentor or students
  • Experience

    Essential criteria

  • 2 years post qualification experience within a MH setting
  • Desirable criteria

  • Experience of child and adolescent Mental Health
