Based at Prestwich Hospital, at our purpose built and renovated children's services.

The Day Service is a nurse led therapeutic service that aims to support young people aged 12 – 17, to try to better manage their thoughts and feelings, through the joint exploration of their strengths and needs.

Those young people attending Day Service will attend for a period of 6-8 weeks where they will have access to education at our on-site Cloughside College. Young People can attend 4 days a week 9am – 3pm, where they are supported by nurses and a support time recovery worker.

Our mission is to work with external services to support young people who are transitioning back into a community setting and back into education. Our service supports young people to be safely managed in the community and avoid a tier 4 admission.
