CAD Technician - Joinery

• Use CAD software to create detailed drawings and plans for custom joinery projects.
• Interpret design specifications and sketches to produce accurate technical drawings.
• Collaborate with the design team and project managers to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
• Generate cutting lists and material schedules based on the finalized designs.
• Conduct on-site measurements and surveys to facilitate accurate production drawings.
• Review and revise drawings as needed to accommodate design changes or client feedback.
• Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards and quality control measures.

• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks, with a focus on joinery and woodworking.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of joinery construction techniques and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Detail-oriented with excellent spatial awareness and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
• Prior experience in the joinery or woodworking industry is preferred.
• Formal training or certification in CAD drafting or related fields is a plus.
