One of the most successful print businesses in the UK is continuing to gain momentum in the packaging sector. They are now looking to drive further growth in this service offering through the appointment of a highly motivated and experienced business development manager.

With a focus on quality, sustainability, and innovation, our client specialises in creating packaging solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of clients across various sectors.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities and target audiences, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding our client base.

The successful candidate will be expected to –

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the packaging industry
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, while supporting key stakeholders
  • Implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and customer needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative packaging solutions
  • Prepare and deliver client proposals and presentations
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, regulations, and best practices
  • Essential skills and experience:
  • Proven track record of success in business development or sales within the packaging industry
  • Strong understanding of packaging materials, processes, and technologies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
  • Candidates must also be willing to travel as required.
