JobSummary:
ProactiveProject Managers to deliver social housing retrofit refurbishmentschemes including externals internals and highrise FRA works totenanted housing association properties in Hackney.
This is afantastic opportunity for an ambitious and driven Project Managerwith a determined and motivated attitude or a Senior Site Managerlooking for a step up. You will be instrumental managing multiplecontracts and leading a team of 2 Site Managers an RLO andmultidisciplined tradesmen.
KeyDuties/Accountabilities
DailyResponsibilities of the successful Projects Manager willinclude:
Manage alldaytoday operations of the capital improvementprogrammes.
Identifyingdiscrepancies and taking appropriate actions reporting back tomanagement when this occurs Work closely and meet with client andstakeholders on site to survey and complete property conditionreports.
Developingpolicies & procedures to support the achievement of newprojects Site visits to undertake inspections of works and/orliaise with trade operatives tenants contractors or statutorybodies to resolve any issues and ensure high satisfaction isachieved Maintain Health and Safety and environmentalmanagement.
Drawing up construction phase safety plans andensuring the safe delivery set out within eachplan.
Understand andmanage all client expectations maintaining good workingrelations.
Complete projecthandover and ensure everything is defect/snagfree
Takeresponsibility for all repairs planned maintenance and major worksdelivered through the districtteam.
Ensure propertyrelated works are undertaken in a safe manner delivers high levelsof customer satisfaction and meets financialtargets.
Meet standardsagreed for repairs andvoids.
Provideaccurate and timely statisticalinformation.
Leaseholdcharges will be recoverable due to correct application of processesandprocedures.
EssentialExperienceRequired:
Experience ofBuilding Maintenance including Health & Safety managementisessential.
Experience ofmanaging service providers in a social housing context isessential.
Experience ofleaseholder legislation and processes surrounding Section 20requirements isessential.
EssentialQualificationRequired:
HND or relevantqualification and or extensive senior management experience orequivalent in repairs and maintenance isessential.

Working hours:36 hours perweek.
