Job Details
Pulse is currently seeking a band 7/8b Clinical/Counselling Psychologist with excellent interpersonal skills, to join our fantastic client’s Neuro CAMHS team based in Southampton. This vacancy is available to start as soon as possible, offering part-time hours on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate must have experience with autism, as they will lead the ASC pathway. Preferably, the candidate will have ADI-R qualifications, but the trust will accept someone willing to go through the training. The ASC pathway is for adults and children, but if the postholder just worked with one group, that would be okay as long as they are happy to lead the service. If the candidate does not have ADI-R training and needs to undergo it, the trust can provide and facilitate this for any perm staff once they have passed their 6-month probationary period. However, in order to be a candidate for the course, they would need to have worked with autism before, even if it is not in an assessment capacity. The successful psychologist also needs to be qualified to diagnose if they are to qualify as an ADI-R provider.
