Job requirements are as follows:

The successful candidate must have the following criteria:
- Minimum of 6 months’ UK experience within an NHS Trust or Care Home
- Be up to date with PMVA/Breakaway/MAPA training

ROLE: Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner
TEAM: Waltham Forest Open Dialogue Team (WFNL)
Address: Walthamstow
Working Hours: hours per week. hr days. Flexible working days
Responsibilities: The post holder will be a Registered Practitioner who will have significant intermediate care experience at band 5. The post holder will be responsible for managing the care for a designated team/caseload and will work within the service area under the line management of the Open Dialogue Team Manager. The post holder will ideally have completed a Diploma in Peer Supported Open Dialogue or is currently in training. The post holder will have experience in working clinically within a Community Recovery Service.
The post holder will be legally and professionally accountable for all aspects of care relating to clinical areas. The post holder will have delegated responsibility for a caseload. The post holder will have a responsibility to carry out specific care-co-ordination duties for patients, families/ carers where necessary. The post holder will be responsible for patients allocated to them and will assess, manage and deliver care to meet the complex needs of patients under the service. The post holder will be able to manage, supervise and support their peers, working on their own initiative and but also as an effective team member along with the requirements of pre-registration students. They will be committed to working collaboratively, actively supporting and liaising with other health, social professionals and other agencies to ensure that excellent standards of care are provided.
Skills:
Build effective relationships with service users, their carers and other members of the social network in Open Dialogue meetings.
Ensure that relatives and carers of service users, where appropriate, have a good understanding of the condition of the service user and feel able to communicate effectively with the clinical area to answer any queries or concerns.
To participate in/facilitate Open Dialogue InterVision and Self Work on a regular basis.
To inspire hope in service users to achieve their goals.
Communicate, at all times, in a way which demonstrates the Trust’s values and expectations when working alongside service users/carers and relatives.
Work alongside service users and carers/relatives to continually work towards improving and maintaining high standards.
To initiate and develop new ideas and methods in consultation with the Team manager.
Participate in research, audit reviews and other initiatives in accordance with Clinical Governance.
Actively contribute to the development and review of policies and procedures based upon best practice.


-Be able to provide UK references, Immunisations report and must have a valid NMC pin.
