Your new role

As our new Automation Analyst, your role will play an important part within the company's Systems Department through the development, automation, improvement and streamlining of processes for efficiency. Your work will support senior management and decision makers, enabling stakeholders to make insightful, value add business decisions.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Analysing & understanding existing business support processes and identifying opportunities for automation to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions using relevant tools and technologies
  • Over time becoming a subject matter expert in running process automation projects from requirements gathering through scoping, to technical project delivery
  • Building stakeholder relationships through communication & collaboration, ensuring alignment of automation initiatives with stakeholder expectations and Systems Teams strategy
  • Driving a continuous improvement mindset, evaluating the performance of existing automated processes & troubleshooting issues
  • Your new team

    You will be part of the small but growing Systems Department who have a vision to accelerate digital transformation at Ramboll UK, enabling time and space for our internal stakeholders.

    As a team we benefit from flexible and hybrid working arrangements, and plan around team days in the office to support and collaborate with each other. You will also work closely with stakeholders from the Finance, HR and Operational Excellence teams in the UK, as well as collaborating with technical teams based in the UK, Denmark and India.

    These include:

    Essential:

  • 3+ years in a similar role of automating Business Support processes
  • Experience of RPAs, APIs and other process automation technologies & tools
  • Foundation knowledge of Python
  • Experience of at least one element of Power Platform (PowerBI, Power Automate or PowerApps)
  • Sharepoint, MS Teams & MS Office
  • SQL
  • Willingness to learn and persevere to find creative solutions to challenging tasks
  • Attention to detail and a focus on high standards of quality
  • Effective communication skills
  • Desirable:

  • Willing to learn other elements of Power Platform (PowerBI, Power Automate or PowerApps)
  • VBA
