The role
will be a mixture of hands on for larger and more complex assignments (mainly corporate clients) and reviewing for smaller jobs (mainly personal clients). You will work in a newly created role that will provide you with many growth opportunities in the future including the chance to be promoted to a higher level in a short space of time. No experience of the client base is necessary although a strong interest in working with creative, media and Film & TV clients is essential.To be considered for this new role (September 2024) you will be a qualified ACA with at least 1 year PQE and currently working for a UK based practice firm with experience of the above duties, particularly up to date audit experience, preparing statutory accounts from start to finish (especially for FRS 102 clients), tax returns (ideally both corporation tax and personal tax) and reviewing work. You will either be working for a small or medium sized firm and looking to step up to a larger firm or you will already be working for a large practice and are looking to work in a more friendly firm in a mixed role with a better work life balance and faster progression. Experience of a wide range of software packages would be an advantage but training will be provided if necessary. You must now be looking to upgrade to an entrepreneurial and modern boutique West End based accountancy firm which is one of the main firms in London which works with high profile Media, Entertainment, Creative, Film & TV clients. They offer hybrid working – 4 days in the office and 1 day from home plus flexi start / finish times. The office atmosphere is casual, relaxed and friendly.
