About the School
Lymm High School is a 11-18 school with nearly 1900 students (360 in the 6th form) and exceptional resources, including 28 acres of beautiful grounds, a swimming pool, leisure complex and our own residential centre in Anglesey. A very good and well-established school already, we have made rapid progress in recent years and have no intention of resting on our laurels. The potential here is huge and it is a lovely place to work.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Attendance Officer with relevant experience and a high level of personal drive and energy, who will work alongside the Senior Leadership Team, Heads of Year and our Student Services teams to support young people and raise achievement by improving attendance and engagement. If successful, you will have a real opportunity to improve the life chances of young people.
About the Role
Successful candidates will have experience of working in a school environment and are highly likely to have some direct experience of working on attendance. It will also be an advantage to be familiar with the use of SIMS to record and analyse attendance patterns. However, above all we are looking for people who work well in teams, are flexible, resilient and ‘can do’ in their attitude to work and who can form strong relationships with young people and their families. Your attitude, potential and willingness to learn are at least as important as your prior experience.
