Are you ready to kick-start your social work career in the vibrant and diverse city of Bristol? Bristol City Council are seeking Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSWs) and students nearing the end of their Social Work training to join our dedicated Children and Families Teams.

We have opportunities across our various service areas (Area Services, Disabled Children & Specialist Services, Through Care, and Fostering & Kinship). Please specify your service of interest on the application form so we can match you to the most suitable role.

Bristol City Council ASYE Programme:

  • Dedicated ASYE Lead and direct line Manager for comprehensive support during your Assessed and Supported Year of Employment (ASYE).
  • Regular workshops covering various practical topics to enhance your frontline social work skills and build a supportive peer network.
