  • We have an excellent opportunity for an Associate Lecturer for the following undergraduate modules:

  • Psychosocial Understandings and Reflective Practice (10 weeks in term 3, Thursdays 6-9pm)
  • Psychodynamic thinking and helping practice (10 weeks in term 2, Thursdays 6-9pm)
  • You need to have a secure knowledge of and a training in psychodynamic counselling at an appropriate level.

    You will need to be currently in therapeutic practice, as well as experience of teaching ideally in higher education. It is essential that you have experience of participating in and also of leading an experiential group.

    Further to the person specification, essential requirements for this role are:

  • Qualified counsellor with specialism in psychodynamic thinking and practice
  • You will need to be confident about leading an experiential group
  • You will need to be aware of and attend to the needs of mature learners
