Location: Manchester / Hybrid – 2 days per week

This role is supporting our Escode business (formally Software Resilience) - an exciting new brand for our industry-leading Software Escrow division.

Job Summary:

The Associate HR Business Partner (HRBP) will support the Lead HR Business Partner in delivering HR services and solutions to Escode.

This role involves working closely with the wider people team and key business stakeholders to understand business needs, contribute to strategic HR initiatives, and ensure effective HR operations across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder management:

  • Build relationships and collaborating with business leaders is vital, as is the ability to managing diverse personalities and viewpoints which requires high emotional intelligence
  • Commercial acumen:

  • You must be able to make recommendations and decisions based on business requirements and be viewed within the business as a key influencer.
  • You will be required to demonstrate that you understand the business commercially and advise with this in mind.
  • Employee Relations:

  • Manage employee relations issues as needed, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on HR policies and procedures.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Support the recruitment process and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and positive integration into the company.
  • Data insight

  • You will work with and analyse data to influence and drive key decisions in the business, constantly tracking key HR metrics to spot issues early and drive positive change.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics as required.
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits and compensation programs.
  • Learning and Development:

  • Coordinate training sessions and development programs in partnership with the Talent Development Partner
  • Support managers to empower employees in identifying development needs and career aspirations.
  • HR Projects:

  • Contribute to HR projects aimed at improving processes and enhancing the employee experience.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Compliance:

  • Ensure HR practices comply with the relevant country employment law and company policies.
  • Stay informed about changes in legislation and best practices in HR.
  • Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • CIPD qualified (minimum Level 5) or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a Senior HR Advisor/Junior HR Business Partner role, preferably within a global matrix business
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of HR software and systems is an advantage (Workday and Salesforce is a strong plus)
  • Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Knowledge of the Netherlands and USA employment law is strongly desirable
  • Ideally, you will have previous experience of working across international locations and time zones
