The Shaping the World Campaign will reach its target in 2024, and we are developing the second phase of this endeavour, building on our success and momentum. Highlights include an unrestricted 8 figure gift to LSE’s endowment from alumnus Vincent Cheng and over £18 million raised for sustainability related research and leadership, including for the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment. Our Philanthropy and Global Engagement division has firmly established itself as one of the UK’s most successful university fundraising teams. We now seek to appoint Two Associate Directors of Leadership Philanthropy to join the Leadership Philanthropy team as they continue to cultivate the highest level of donors and supporters.
Reporting to the Director of Leadership Philanthropy (and working closely with academic leads), the Associate Director will be responsible for securing philanthropic support for the University’s strategic philanthropic priorities and developing lasting relationships with diverse stakeholders. Passionate about the role and value of a university in society, the successful candidate will be a highly skilled professional with an enterprising, creative, and determined mind-set and a track record in delivering six and seven-figure philanthropic gifts.
An executive search exercise is being undertaken by Perrett Laver who will support LSE in identifying the widest possible field of qualified candidates and assist in their assessment against the requirements for the role.
