Associate - Court of Protection

Your Role

You’ll be leading a team of four colleagues with a high level of accountability. You’ll be hands on with business development activity and leading on client work. You’ll understand litigation processes and be able to work alongside our Personal Injury Litigation team and Court of Protection team. You’ll support Partners to grow the business and deliver excellent client service whilst undertaking high value and/or complex work within court of Protection.

Your role will involve:

Team leadership responsibilities

Working with our Personal Injury litigation team

Take instructions from clients and give legal advice

To meet all cost/fee targets where set

Actively support practice development and cross-selling.

About You

5yrs+ PQE in Court of Protection

Experience leading a team

Experience in business development and leading client work is essential

Understanding litigation processes alongside Court of Protection work

Some experience with Mental Capacity Work

High level of accountability

Leading and participating in practice development

Highly organised

Commercial awareness

Ability to work collaboratively and independently

Ability to work in a pressurised environment
