The Role

We are seeking a Assistant Systems Manager to join our Business Improvement team in London who will support our commitment to great customer service, exceptional quality and embrace our company values.

Approximately 60% of your time will be spent in the office.


The main role of a Assistant Systems Manager at Willmott Dixon Interiors is to support the Business improvement team and work with the wider business to embed the principles of a quality management system. Your role will include the day-to-day maintenance of our internal systems using the Microsoft 365 suite (including SharePoint, OneDrive, and Ms Teams) as well assisting the team to identify and introduce opportunities for efficient technology interventions. You will manage the internal audit programme for quality management as well as supporting and running internal audits within the business.


Through management of internal systems and your position in the internal audits team you will identify opportunities for continuous improvement that will benefit our people and improve business efficiency. Promoting the values of the management systems and communicating across teams to gather feedback and identify spaces for intervention.


Your role will collaborate across teams and projects to embed changes and train individuals on efficient practices. Working to ensure that our internal processes and systems are kept up to date and effectively managed to reflect changes across the business. As our business and management system develop, you will be part of the team to identify improvements and growth opportunities in our systems and processes.

What you’ll bring to the role


  • Process management: Our Quality management system requires many moving parts to operate consistently with each other. Strong process management and organisation are necessary to ensure the smooth running of internal systems and a seamless offering to the internal customer.

  • Problem Solving: Working as part of the business improvement team and as an Internal auditor it is usual to encounter challenges around our internal processes. Your role will be to support teams and think creativity to find a solution that fits the parameters of ISO 9001 and suits the needs of our people.

  • Desire to learn: Our industry is dynamic and ever-evolving, with new technologies, methods, and trends emerging constantly. You’ll enjoy staying updated on industry developments, learning about new innovations and implementing best practices to enhance the proposal development process.

  • Relationship Management: Working across teams and projects to keep teams engaged and aware of changes to our systems and processes as well as opening the conversation to feedback to the Business improvement team to aid continuous improvement.


  • Criteria

    You should ideally have some experience with ISO 9001 (or similar) and internal auditing of management systems. You should be process minded and quick at adapting to news systems and technology. You will be able to produce training materials to help others in following process and procedures. Knowledge and experience in the Adobe suite, particularly InDesign is desirable, but training will be provided if required.



  • Diary management and scheduling skills

  • Experience in ISO 9001 (or similar)

  • Internal Auditing experience

  • Skilled in Microsoft 365 SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Teams (required) Planner, Power Automate (desirable)

  • Meticulous organisational skills

  • Strong written communication skills for internal news posts, report writing and training materials.

  • Use of Adobe Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator (desirable)
