Assistant Management Accountant – £28,000-£30,000 & study support – Hatfield – hybrid

A rapidly growing international business with an instantly recognisable brand are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team. This role will work alongside a team of Qualified Management Accountants and give you the opportunity to learn and develop whilst studying.

Main responsibilities for the Assistant Management Accountant will be:

Pre payments, accruals and revenue recognition

Ownership of allocated P&L lines, understanding how the accounting and operational processes work and explain variances month on month and to prior year.

Reconciliation of allocated balance sheet accounts.

Liaising with regional Finance Regional Managers, to ensure that queries and corrections are resolved on a timely basis.

Involvement in the monthly reporting process

Ad hoc analysis of P&L lines

You will:

Have previous Finance experience

Be working towards and ACCA or CIMA qualification

Have strong Excel skills

Have a pro active approach to problem solving and a positive attitude
