They are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Aspiring Secondary Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring that students remain on task with their learning activities.
Key Responsibilities of an Aspiring Secondary Teacher:
* Supervise classes during the absence of regular teachers.
* Ensure that students are engaged in the learning activities provided by the absent teacher.
* Manage classroom behavior in accordance with school policies and procedures.
* Provide support and guidance to students as needed.
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Take attendance and maintain accurate records.
* Communicate any issues or concerns to the relevant staff members.
* Support the administration and smooth operation of the school as required.
* Assist with other duties related to student supervision and support as necessary.
Qualifications and Experience of an Aspiring Secondary Teacher:
* A high school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
* Experience working with secondary school students, preferably in an educational setting.
* Strong classroom management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team of Aspiring Secondary Teacher.
* A proactive and flexible approach to work.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
