Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

The following is essential criteria:

– Degree in Social Work

– SWE Registration

– Right to work within the UK

Candidate must be a car driver to the this role being community work

1.Knowledge and/or experience of working with adults with a diagnosed learning disability and undertaking a strengths-based assessment, to ensure the support plan meets the individuals needs and outcomes. Considering a person’s strengths, circles of support, technology, universal services, knowledge of local community resources and reduced reliance on formal support.

2.Knowledge and/or experience of working with adults with a learning disability and working with partner agencies to help people find solutions to maximise their independence and resilience, enabling people to take positive risks and lead good lives, working in accordance with statutory legal framework and policies including the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005

3.Knowledge and/ or experience of undertaking safeguarding enquires and examples of you using your professional judgment in complex situations and being able to make appropriate decisions in a timely manner, working in line with the six principles of safeguarding in the Care Act 2014

You must have:

  • A professional qualification in social work and experience of working with Children’s
  • Social Work England registration.
  • Post qualified experience.
  • Standard with Enhanced DBS Check/Adults Barred List and HCPC
  • 2 years referencing, all gaps verified
  • Photographic ID
  • Confidentiality Agreement signed
  • Eligibility to work in the UK confirmed
