Job description
We are looking for an Adult's Social Worker to join the Adults Safeguarding Team.
This post requires a Social Work Qualification of a minimum 2 year post experience.
About the team
This team focuses on supporting vulnerable adults that are of risk of abuse, the team will deal with cases on a short term bases. The team will aid those who may be facing, physical abuse, neglect, mental, or finical. This is a highly sufficent service that prides it self of effective communication between the team and other agencies involved. Key responsibilities may include to attend face to face visits, carrying out relevant assessments and putting together a care package for the individual. The team will also be reviewing over the individuals cases under the Section 42 Act.
About you
A Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) within a minimum of 1 year post ASYE experience is required. The successful candidate will be asked to undertake short term cases with the expectation to turn them around within 2 - 4 weeks. Candidates that have experience working within a first response, community, complex care team will be desired for this post.
