Job description

We are looking for a Deputy Team Manager to join a Learning Disability Service.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.

About the team

This team works with service users in the community with autism and other learning disabilities to provide support and facilitate their independence. This post involves aiding in the day to day running of the team, supervising Social Workers and other unqualified professionals in the team and reporting to senior management on performance. Working effectively with connected services is key to ensuring the best outcomes for each individual.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years experience is essential in order to be considered for this role. Experience with line management in a community, mental health or learning disability environment are all experiences that lends well to this role.
