Administrator - 30 hours per week


Rainham, Essex


£


Monday - Friday 9.30am-4.30pm


17 days annual leave (increasing with service) + Bank Holidays and Christmas Closure, pension scheme, on-site parking and discretionary bonus after 1 year service.


Our client, a well established organisation, is seeking an Administrator to join their friendly team. If you are looking for a role that offers a positive work environment, then this is the perfect opportunity for you!


As an Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient operations and supporting the day-to-day activities of the organisation. Your main responsibilities will include:



  • Providing administrative support to the purchasing and customer care teams.

  • Obtaining quotes from suppliers, maintaining good working relationships.

  • Raising and chasing internal stock transfers.

  • Communicating with the warehouse team to coordinate stock arrivals and resolve any queries.

  • Liaising with suppliers to address shortages or any problems with deliveries.

  • Ordering stationary and other office supplies to ensure smooth operations.

  • Investigating and resolving customer care issues related to sales orders.

  • Raising credit notes via in-house customer care system.

  • Organising returns to suppliers.


  • To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will have:



  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role or a strong background in administration.

  • A confident and outgoing personality, enabling effective communication with suppliers and colleagues.

  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

  • Punctuality and self-motivation, ensuring that all duties are carried out promptly and effectively.
