As our Admin Lead, you will be at the forefront of managing our dedicated admin team. Your role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations within a busy customer service environment. You will be the go-to person for both our team and patients.

Job responsibilities
To be responsible for theefficient management, training and direction of the administration team,ensuring all administrative duties are performed effectively and to therequired standard, meeting the objectives of the practice.
Thefollowing are the core responsibilities of the administration lead. There maybe on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependentupon factors such as workload and staffing levels.
Theadministration lead is responsible for:
Overseeing theadministration and support operations of the practice, ensuring staff achievetheir primary responsibilities.
Line managing alladministrative staff, supporting staff development, providing guidance anddirection, ensuring staff are up to date with mandatory training
Completing staffappraisals as required
Compiling andmonitoring the admin / room rota.
Identifying and deliverteam training where required.
Managing staff leave inline with HR handbook.
Managing sicknessabsence within the team.
Reviewing and updatingall administrative policies and procedures as required
Support the managementteam in the compilation of practice reports and the practice development plan
Develop, implement, andembed efficient office processes and procedures.
Act as a focal pointfor the practice managing requests from external organisations
Coordinate theprovision of temporary administrative staff ensuring sufficient cover isprovided for periods of leave and other staff absences
First line managementof patient concerns, or calls that require escalation.Person Specification

GCSE English (C or above) and at least three others
