About the role
Vision for Education are working in partnership with a number of specialist schools within Pontefract to recruit for Activity Support Officer to work with children with SLD, PMLD, Learning and Sensory Needs.
This role is due to commence ASAP. Vision for Education can offer full and part time roles or daily supply that suits your needs.
Children are likely to be working at levels below those typically expected for their age.
We are continually seeking quality caring staff members, who with additional experience and training may eventually become full time or even supply support staff members.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Activity Support Officer in School (PMLD) you will:
Have experience of moving and handling in a care/school setting
Have demonstrable experience of supporting and achieving exceptional outcomes with SEND learners within a mainstream or Special Needs setting

Salary
£78 to £85 per day
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
Recent experience obtained within the last 2 years, of working with children or young people, ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play or care setting. We must be able to obtain references from these roles.
