You will be working for a construction business in Portsmouth who are looking to increase their headcount through the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant.
Your new role
Set up of subcontractors on Sage.
Input of invoices/applications through Sage
Ability to spot potential errors / queries during the input process
Set up payless notices for each valuation/invoice received
Certification of Invoices and Applications
Monthly statement reconciliations
Subcontractor payment preparation and reports.
Monthly CIS return
What you'll need to succeed
Full right-to-work in the UK, with prior experience working within a UK finance team
Experience working within the construction industry
Good understanding of the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS)
Knowledge of domestic reverse-charge VAT (preferable)
MS Office : Excel, Word & Outlook
What you'll get in return
Apetitive salary of circa £30,000 per annum
