JOB TITLE : Accounts Administrator (Sage experience required)



LOCATION: Woodbury



SALARY: £12 - £13 PH



HOURS: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, fixed term contract

Our client is currently seeking a dynamic and motivated administrator to join their growing team on the outskirts of Exeter.     THE ROLE: . As an Accounts Administrator, you will provide direct support to the Finance Manager and Head of Finance, assisting with the administration of financial processing and reconciliations. You will also support with preparing accounts.



    KEY DUTIES:




  • Sales Ledger - raise invoices/credit notes as required, carry out regular aged debtor reviews and maintain the ledger

  • Purchase Ledger - post invoices/credit notes, process supplier payment runs, carry out regular aged creditor reviews and maintain the ledger

  • Cashbook - post bank transactions daily and be involved in cash & bank reconciliations

  • Nominal Ledger - recognize and process prepayments and support the Assistant Finance Manager with processing fixed assets to the asset register

  • Carry out the administration and processing of company credit card returns

  • Process or assist in processing ad-hoc BACS payments

  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, centres and other staff members when necessary answering any queries in a timely manner

  • Carry out credit control and be proactive in chasing any outstanding debt

  • Assist and support the Assistant Finance Manager with any other tasks as requested

  • Ensure all training is completed and kept up to date



  • THE CANDIDATE:



  • Experience working within a team covering all aspects of finance function

  • Knowledge of Sage software

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload

  • Problem solver and able use initiative

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Experience of support change of processes within a business

  • Experience of supporting change of processes within a business

  • Intermediate Excel skills

  • Able to analyse financial data

  • Reliable and adaptable
