Job Opportunity: Accountant fora Leading IFA Practice
Our clientis seeking an experienced Accountant to join their dynamic financedepartment. The successful candidate will be responsible forproviding support in producing SelfAssessment tax returns forindividuals and companies Management Accounts and other financialaccounts procedures. Full training and study support will beprovided with the goal of becoming a Chartered TaxAdviser.
KeyResponsibilities:
Preparation ofmonthly management accounts
Statutoryaccounts
Selfassessment tax returns
Limited Company Tax Returns
Commission Reconciliation
Invoicing and CreditControl
Long lease property administration(preparing accounts issuing maintenance and ground rentinvoices)
Analyzing and reconciling expensesand receipts
Producing KPIs for the company andadvisers
Producing documents/KPIs forregulatory returns
Providing treasurer servicesto local charities
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be a qualified or partqualifiedaccountant with experience in dealing with Personal Tax.Additionally candidates should possess the followingqualities:
Highly organized with efficient timemanagement and the ability to prioritize workloads
Excellent communication skills both verbal andwritten
Ability to work well independently andas part of a team
Computer literate withproficiency in Advanced Excel Word and Outlook
Strong attention to detail
Previous experienceworking with Xero is preferred but not essential
