About Our Client
Our client a highly successful FMCG business, supplying products business-to-business are currently recruiting for a Accountant / Finance Manager based in Farnham, Surrey, Hybrid working available. They span various areas of the world, operated under a group of companies.
Job Description
As the Accountant / Finance Manager you would be working in a friendly and focused team, you will have the chance to take ownership of your work, with a supportive CFO who is keen on developing staff without micro-managing. Main purposes / key objectives / elements of the job:
Work alongside the CFO and FC to improve and/or implement new monthly management reporting at group level.
Use of Xero, Syft Analytics.
Support the Financial Control in areas of:
Clean-up of ledgers and ensuring financial year end TBs are updated in line with Statutory Accounts.
Ongoing maintenance of ledgers in Xero.
Working alongside the CFO on projects as required.
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany reconciliations.
Implementation and weekly / monthly reporting of KPIs, including:
Closing stock figures
Units ordered and scrappage
Profitability of a few operational areas of the business
Possibly some Company Secretarial administration work.
Liaison with overseas finance / accounting colleagues/peers to ensure financial information is received as required.
You will have support from the Finance Manager and an Accounts Assistant, with an expected Junior Accountant in addition in the future
The Successful Applicant
Experience in a similar role
Qualified by Experience, CIMA/ACCA Part Qualified, AAT Qualified all equally considered
Good priority management.

Salary £45,000 - £52,000 with scope for uplifts for good performance.
25 days' holiday plus 8 days Bank Holidays
