Job Title: ACCA Qualified Management Accountant

Are you a talented ACCA Qualified Management Accountant looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact?

As a Management Accountant, your main purpose will be to provide our client with accurate and timely financial information to support the achievement of their strategic goals. You will play a critical role in improving profitability, reducing costs, and enhancing overall efficiency.

Location: Welwyn Garden City
Salary: £50, to £55, per annum, depending on experience
Contract Details: Permanent, full-time position Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Key responsibilities:

Prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring their accuracy and timeliness

Create a detailed reporting pack, including KPIs, sales stats, and financial commentary

Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans

Submit required statutory returns on time and maintain compliance with regulations ️

Provide decision support to the management team and CFO, offering valuable insights

Identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce costs, driving financial growth

Prepare year-end statutory accounts and collaborate with auditors during the process

Manage working capital to optimise net free cash flow

Oversee treasury function and monthly manufacturing costing runs

Requirements:

Must be ACCA qualified

Knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS and proficiency in SAP systems

Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal ️

Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities

Sound numeric skills and attention to detail ️
