Job Summary
This role will be instrumental in driving profitable growth through ownership of the Distribution P&L, and provision of robust, comprehensive and insightful financial analysis.
By establishing strong relationships, this person will act as both a business partner and a leader, bridging operating teams and finance teams to ensure that operational decisions are in line with delivering our financial plans.
This position demands the ability to understand TJX’s end-to-end off price business model while being able to link the impact of operational performance to financial results.
Key Responsibilities
Be an independent, credible and challenging finance partner to Region 1 and R2 PCs and other senior Distribution and Finance stakeholders, to support the delivery of business goals through regular touchpoints and influential interactions
Own the regular planning and tracking of key KPIs for Region 1 PCs and be able to use them to assist Distribution and Finance management to make the best short and long term decisions
Perform month end and forecasting duties for Region 1 PCs and be able to articulate and present key drivers for performance vs. plan to senior stakeholders in Distribution and Finance
Drive the budget and long range financial plan process and outputs for Region 1 PCs; identifying opportunities to remain efficient as we grow
Provide ROI analysis and challenge for capital requests from Region 1 PCs, to ensure financially viable investments are made
Facilitate and support the growth of the sites by monitoring and advising on regional and network strategies
Provide cohesive analytical support on ad hoc analyses that drive strategic and operational decisions
Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Excellent communication skills across all levels and must have well developed influencing skills to achieve desired outcomes
Strong analytical, problem solving and numeracy skills
Confident use of Excel
A proven track record of delivering results to deadlines
High level of initiative, curiosity and drive
A flexible attitude and forward thinking
Preferable – Distribution/supply chain experience
