A leading multi model logistics business is looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join their Manchester site. As a Customer Service Administrator you will be responsible for assisting the customer through the delivery journey; ensuring clear lines of communication with the Transport team and assisting with all administrative duties.
The role is a mix of Customer Service and Administrative duties and so a background in both is essential. You will work closely with the Transport team to ensure customer service levels are adhered too; providing updates on delivery times and assisting with drivers as and when required. From an administrative direction you will ensure paperwork is completed and provided to drivers; data entry and input jobs on to the bespoke system.
As well as a background in Customer Service and Administration; our client would ideally like someone to have a background in Transport or Logistics. Ideally the person will be confident; strong communicator and able to work under pressure. The right candidate would need to be confident working on Microsoft Outlook; Excel and Word.
The role will be based at their Manchester depot and will work Monday - Friday. The shift will be 10 hours a day with either a 7am or 8am start; additionally there is a requirement for one Saturday a month which is a shorter 3 hour shift. On offer is a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience.
