As a Design Program Coordinator you will support the wider Design Team by leading and driving design operations for our Design System team as well as our Accessibility initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
Take the lead on design operations for our Design System team and Accessibility initiatives
Own tracking and triaging of accessibility issues to empower our teams to build accessible products
Be the point of contact and support teams who are migrating to the design system
Manage ongoing support for partner teams
Create regular reports/comms on program health, progress, and status to relevant stakeholders.
Track status and progress on quality efforts across multiple horizontal and vertical product teams and communicate blockers and cross team dependencies
Maintain documentation on process, product & design principles, and guidance for partner teams
Facilitate meetings, capture notes and clearly communicate action items and follow ups to all stakeholders to drive teams forward in the product development process
Coordinate tasks and triage to appropriate stakeholders
Manage calendar invites, schedules, room bookings, and agendas for all meetings and workshops
Run retrospectives to identify process improvements
Collaborate closely with Design Program Managers and Product Design Leads to prioritise and de-prioritise workstreamsSkills:
Proven experience driving operations for a Design Systems team
Has experience working in software/tech industry as a partner to design
Has demonstrated strong project management experience, preferably in a product or creative agency environment
Has experience working in environments with cross-functional teams (Design, Product, Engineering etc)
Must be well organised and detail oriented, strong written communicator, finder of things, and self-reliant
Strong relationship-building skills
Can deal with ambiguity and requests for change
Organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and to work successfully under pressure
