Exciting Opportunity for a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant!

Are you passionate about making a difference in a child's life? Join our dedicated team as a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant and support a lovely boy in Year 3.

School: Well-respected primary school in Caerphilly

Student: Energetic Year 3 boy

Start Date: 2nd of September

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide tailored support to the student in accordance with his individual needs.
* Foster a positive and supportive learning environment to enhance the student's academic and social development.
* Implement strategies to manage the student's tendency to run off and facilitate frequent movement breaks as needed.
* Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
* Maintain open communication with parents and school staff to ensure consistency in support strategies.

Requirements:

* Experience working with children with additional needs preferred.
* Knowledge and experience with Attentive Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
* Relevant qualifications or willingness to undergo training.
